Lady everett was born in 1975 and grew up in the Raccoon City orphanage, as her parents gave her up at birth for unknown reasons. She has never met her parents and has never bothered to even try and look for them. She was deadset on the fact that they didn't want her, so she decided to keep it that way. She did not have many friends and was even bullied while growing up. So the second she turned eighteen, she left and never came back. However, she stayed in Raccoon City and got her own place, and even attended college. She received her Bachelor's in forensic psychology from Raccoon College and was on her way towards receiving her Master's when her life changed for the worst.She was driving home on a wooded road one night from class when one of her tires blew out, forcing her to pull over. Upon exiting the car to inspect the damage, she was restrained by someone who ran up beside her and knocked her unconscious with a sedative. Upon awakening, she found herself in a "hospital" room with wires attached to and protruding her skin. She quickly realized that this was not a regular emergency room or hospital bed, and that it was something different... something sinister. From there on out, she endured endless hell by the hands of Umbrella researchers and scientists; constantly being poked, prodded, and injected with various liquids. They didn't allow her to ask questions but one day she had enough and demanded to know what was being injected into her. They wouldn't budge, so she threatened to k!ll herself by grabbing a scalpel from a doctor, which prompted them to panic and give away their plans;
they had been injecting her with a strain of virus called the T-Virus, and were merely enhancing the dosage by every few days, which she seemed to be tolerating very well.A month passed and Lady was still tolerating the virus, until the researchers reached a certain dosage. She started to feel sick; she was throwing up every half hour, looked pale, and could barely move. One day she passed out and her vital signs started dropping, which caused the doctors to perform CPR until she was stable again. Since then, she was kept in a sleep-induced coma, hoping to keep her for future experimentation.

She awakened a few months later gasping for breath in a hospital bed with an intubation tube shoved down her throat, to which she harshly pulled out. The room looked chaotic as if a tornado ran amongst it, and there were no doctors in sight. upon leaving the room, Lady was quick to decipher that something was amiss since the whole building was in disarray and absolutely no one was in sight. She took this as her chance to escape, which she did, but she faced even more horrors as she reached the surface. People were running amok the city and being chased by what looked like zombies. But the part that Lady didn't understand was that these "zombies" weren't harming her. In fact, they would walk right by and ignore her, chasing someone else down instead. She used this as an advantage to escape, finding an abandoned car and using it to drive out of the city.

After the destruction of Raccoon City, Lady resided in Chicago and changed her appearance and name in order to prevent former Umbrella members finding her. She used her infection as an advantage and became an underground bounty hunter to defeat bioweapons, which is ironic since she is a bioweapon herself, although she refuses to admit it. She currently moves around the United States and Europe, never really staying in one place, all while defeating creatures that threaten to defeat human civilization.
